For plumbing & heating businesses

Web design for plumbers who want the phone to ring.

Most plumbing enquiries start with a stressed homeowner on a phone, standing next to something that is leaking. They are not reading your About page. They are deciding, in about eight seconds, whether you look like someone who will actually turn up.

What usually goes wrong

Where these sites lose the enquiry.

Your number is buried

If a customer has to scroll or pinch to find your phone number, they have already tapped back to Google. Click-to-call belongs in the header and after every section.

No sign you cover their area

Homeowners want to know you are local before they call. Naming the towns you cover, on the page, removes the biggest reason people hesitate.

Gas Safe and insurance details hidden

Your registration number is a trust signal, not small print. On the sites I build it sits near the top, where it does its job.

Emergency work treated the same as a bathroom fit

A burst pipe and a planned installation need completely different journeys. One needs a phone number in two seconds; the other needs photos and reassurance.

What your customers type

The site is built around these.

Almost all of these are typed on a phone, often outside working hours. The site has to load fast, work with one thumb, and make calling the obvious next step.

  • emergency plumber near me
  • boiler repair [town]
  • gas safe plumber [town]
  • bathroom fitters near me
  • 24 hour plumber [town]

Thoroughbred Brows

Live client

Brow studio, Newmarket

Olivia had the reviews and the results but no website — bookings lived entirely on a third-party app. Built from a blank page in Newmarket: an editorial, unhurried site that matches the quality of the work and sends people straight to booking.

How it was built

Booking is the only ask
One repeated action throughout the site, wired into her existing booking system so nothing changed operationally.
Real proof, up front
5.0 from 313 verified ratings sits in the first screen instead of hiding on a review app.
Photography-led
Full-bleed imagery and generous space so the work sells itself before a word is read.
Found on Google locally
Structured for "brows Newmarket" style searches, with a microblading guide page pulling in early-stage searchers.

Questions

What people ask before they start.

Do I need a website if I already get work from word of mouth?
Word of mouth still ends up on Google. When someone recommends you, the next thing that person does is search your name. A tidy website is what turns that recommendation into a booked job rather than a comparison with two other plumbers.
I do not have photos of my work. Is that a problem?
No. Start taking a few phone photos on the next couple of jobs and send them over. In the meantime I build the site so it works without them, and we add them later at no extra cost.
Can it show which areas I cover?
Yes, and it should. I list your towns and villages in the copy and in the page structure, which is also what helps you show up for searches in those places.
What does it cost?
£350 for a Starter site or £450 for the Professional site, both one-off. Hosting and looking after it afterwards is £25 a month if you want it. You see a real homepage design before paying anything.

I will design a real homepage for your plumbing business — your name, your area, your services — and you decide afterwards whether you want it.
