Cancellation & Refund Policy

The current process may include showing a free homepage concept before a client chooses to proceed. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, no payment is due solely for deciding not to proceed after that free concept.

Tell Marin Website Solutions promptly in writing if you wish to cancel. The agreement should specify what counts as the start date, any deposit, completed milestones, committed third-party costs, notice and the amount payable for work already performed.

No automatic refund promise or fixed cancellation charge is stated here because those terms have not yet been confirmed.

Website design and development is commonly tailored to a client's instructions. Any effect this has on cancellation rights, including consumer cancellation rights, should be explained in the signed agreement and reviewed professionally before a client is asked to waive or request early performance of any service.

The notice period, final service date, data handover, domain and hosting transition, outstanding fees and any prepaid-period treatment for a Website Care Plan must be stated in the service agreement. The current website does not establish a blanket refund rule.

Domains, software, licences, hosting, stock assets and other purchases made for a project may be governed by a supplier's own cancellation terms. Responsibility for these costs must be agreed before purchase.

The aim will be to understand the issue and offer an appropriate remedy where required. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

This policy should be read with the Terms & Conditions and the signed project agreement. The signed, project-specific terms take priority where appropriate.
